Event Safety Policy
At Overwatch 6 (“OW6”), safety is the foundation of every event and training program we host. We are committed to maintaining a professional, controlled environment that reflects the discipline and integrity of our veteran and first responder instructors.
1. Safety First
All OW6 events follow established safety standards appropriate to the activity, including:
Mandatory range safety briefings for all firearms events
Enforced use of eye and ear protection
Strict supervision by qualified range officers and instructors
Required adherence to posted range and field commands
Participants must sign an OW6 Liability Waiver prior to participating in any event involving firearms, physical exertion, or outdoor exposure.
Refusal to sign the waiver will result in removal from the event.
2. Health and Preparedness
Some events involve mild physical activity, outdoor conditions, or extended exposure. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to take part and must notify instructors of any medical limitations before beginning.
3. Emergency Protocols
OW6 maintains first aid supplies on-site and may coordinate with local EMS as needed.
Participants consent to receive emergency medical treatment in the event of injury or illness during an OW6 event.
4. Media & Photography
OW6 occasionally documents events for promotional or educational purposes.
Participants may be photographed or recorded; however, OW6 will respect written requests not to be included in promotional media.
5. Code of Conduct
OW6 reserves the right to remove any participant engaging in unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior.
